Architectural Patterns

Home PageWhat's NewLinksServices

Architectural patterns document standard approaches to solving design problems. By studying these patterns, an architect can draw upon solutions others have used to solve problems similar to those now being faced. These patterns provide a convenient means of communicating and discussing design alternatives,

Various vendor products may utilize solutions using these patterns, and a complete corporate solution may require extending the vendor solution with custom programming, as well as combining multiple vendor products.

These patterns are currently early drafts and need to be refined. The intention is to put them into standard OO pattern structure.

Foldering Patterns

Organizing documents to meet user's needs.

Naming Patterns

Identifying documents and folders.

Attribute and Indexing Patterns

Assigning data values to documents and folders.

Robot Patterns

Server patterns to support document management and workflow processes.
