RouteAnalyzer¾ A Workflow Analysis Product

We created RouteAnalyzer, a workflow analysis and documentation product that has been in use at a number of large corporations to support their Sigma Imaging Systems OmniDesk (now Eastman Software OPEN/Workflow) workflow definition facilities.

RouteAnalyzer interfaced with the route definition files produced by RouteBuilder (trademark of Eastman Software) and provided a robust visual interface to analyze the route, as well as numerous useful and attractive documentation reports. A rules-based facility checked the routes for potential run-time problems, and cross-referenced the data fields being utilized by the routing rules.

Functional Product Specifications

Software development is a dynamic process and often provides little time for documentation.

We have assisted two software companies in the preparation of complete functional specifications for their workflow and document management products. These efforts required definition of document format, numbering, versioning and release schemes. It was also necessary to define a common lexicon to convey historical as well as contemporary definitions of the terminology associated with these systems.
