We developed the requirement statements and authored the United Nations Pension Fund RFP for a document management and workflow solution to their worldwide needs.
This application needed to handle imaging of large quantities of existing pension documents
This RFP was successfully executed and a vendor solution acquired, installed, and is operational.
RFP Solution Design Assistance
We have designed, documented, and presented to customers multiple document management and workflow solutions for RFPs issued to vendors and integrators.
These projects required visiting customer work environments to analyze requirements, and then working with vendor and integrator marketing and technical personnel to construct alternative solutions, select the most viable one, and determining feature coverage, configuration, availability, pricing, development requirements, installation planning, and other details. Response text, diagrams, and presentations were drafted, reviewed, finalized, and presented.
We have designed and executed a complete Request for Information engagement to determine viable vendor solutions for a large multi-site insurance service center solution.
This project required a determination of user requirements by visiting and analyzing the operations of a number of service sites, then preparing, issuing, and presenting the RFI to vendors. The vendors were interviewed and their responses consolidated into reports and analysis matrices to perform a selection.
For several insurance companies, we have visited their service centers, as well as their national policy file storage centers to design integrated workflow and document management solutions to replace paper files with images.
These designs required analysis of existing file content, back file conversion planning, dynamic on-demand scanning solutions, and dual-mode operation planning.
Workflow analysis included mailroom receipts, disbursement, claim, policy service, and outbound document preparation operations. Solutions were designed for integration with existing policy administration systems, work management and tracking systems, and compliance and work-accomplished reporting systems.
